Barnegat Bay Civic Association of Manahawkin holds
monthly meetings at the Stafford Township Municipal Building  at 260 E. Bay Ave. Manahawkin N.J. on the third Saturday of each month at 9 AM in the Council Conference Room.

  NJ, is comprised of  the Bayside , Cedar Bonnet Island , and                                    Mallard Island communities.

          Here it is almost the end of March, Easter is over & it is starting to feel like Spring.

      If you were not at the January meeting, then you don't know that I will not be coming back as President. This is for a couple reasons. First of all one of our neighbors did something that cost both Jim & I money plus a lot of grief. I feel this was done to "get
back" at the association. I cannot in all honesty represent people like that. The other reason is that I have been President for over 10 years and have too many other responsibilities now to continue.
If anyone feels that the association is worthwhile and would like to take over as President I will gladly give them all the support I can.
If no one does then the association will dissolve & everyone can fight for themselves when the Causeway bridge project starts & any other problems arise.

          I can't speak for the other areas, but Mallard Island can certainly use a cleanup. I know we will have our Spring cleanup in May, but in the mean time please take a few minutes to pick up any trash you see while walking around. It would be greatly appreciated.
